I am super excited to be included in this series, She’s Crafty, at the New Museum. My mini-residency / workshop will be December 26-30, and I’ll be creating a special collection of editioned ephemera called “Cheetos in the Key of Life.” Follow along on Instagram (@breanne_) or come visit me there IRL! I’ve got a bunch of fun stuff planned, including some very special guests:
Wednesday 12/26: I’ll collaborate with Jeff Barnett-Winsby (and YOU?!) to create Cash ‘n Carry ON-DEMAND still life images. We’ll arrange and photograph a selection of objects chosen by Museum visitors. Participants may pick up a one-of-a-kind archival print of their still life upon departure from the Museum.
Kiosk is generously loaning us a few objects for this (including the preztel below!) !!! : )
Thursday–Friday 12/27–28: I’ll be making junk food-inspired silkscreen monoprints AND crocheting a limited edition of 25 Trockel-blue cheetos and IKB cheetos, respectively.
Saturday 12/29: Eight-hour donut sprinkle drawing sesh with Shannon Finnegan.
Sunday 12/30: More drawings and collages!
