A few fellow Fluxers* and I took a walk tonight from Flux Factory to Roosevelt Island and back. The ever knowledgable Jean dishing out all manner of trivia: Water turbines power the (only) grocery store on the island, you once could pay to see the mentally disturbed in the asylum, in the 19th century NYC was the world’s biggest exporter of oysters, etc.

Still settling in to my new space and getting more used to it. Lots going on in many directions. 2010 is a good year so far. Hope it is for you too.
