Yesterday I queued up a work-week’s worth of “hand” videos. I honestly didn’t expect anyone to notice, but it turns out my Serra post was featured in #Art. Thx Tumblr! So the thing is, tomorrow when the next hand video posts, just know that it was planned in advance.

But a note on that Serra. I saw it for the first time yesterday at the Metropolitan Museum. I had waited over 4 hours to see the Alexander McQueen exhibition (more thoughts on that forthcoming maybe. Though if you follow me on Twitter you probably know how I feel). After seeing the McQueen show I went into the Serra show and was blown away by how much he’s been able to accomplish with his drawings with such an absurdly limited palette (almost all one paint stick color, black). Anyhoo, that show is up through Aug 28, and it’s worth checking out if you’re in NYC and have the time.
